OUR STORY
Caroline's Cookies is a locally owned cookie shop in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, Louisiana that specializes in hand-made, seasonal, and irresistibly thick & gooey cookies! Our menu features four staple flavors that are always available, alongside two new monthly rotating flavors and two throwback flavors. We also offer cookie cakes, catering services, and convenient delivery!
Founded by Caroline Merryman, Caroline's Cookies initially gained traction by selling cookies through direct messages on Instagram, followed by appearances at farmers’ markets and pop-ups. The business gradually expanded its reach through online orders on our website, leading to our first storefront opening on August 14, 2021. Thanks to the unwavering support of our customers from our Lafayette location, we've tripled our staff and established two additional kitchens. Four years after our storefront debut, we're thrilled to announce the addition of two locations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
We're constantly brainstorming new and exciting ventures, from introducing unique monthly flavors and hosting themed events to engaging in social media giveaways and collaborating with fellow local businesses. We're even bringing back beloved fan-favorite flavors! We invite you to visit us and see what all the long lines and hype are about!

Caroline Merryman discovered her love for baking at 8 years old by teaching herself how to make cakes and cupcakes. This hobby grew even more during the COVID lockdown when she started baking lots of cookies and delivering them to her friends as a way to stay busy and not get bored. She started an Instagram page for her cookies just for fun, but was soon receiving requests to purchase them.
She continued to sell her cookies while attending college until April of 2021, when she decided to put college on hold and focus on giving 100% to Caroline's Cookies. Her dedication paid off with daily lines wrapping around the building of her store, as well as selling out of cookies every day. At 19 years old, she opened her first-ever storefront and is now running three locations across Lafayette and Baton Rouge with a small but growing team of full-time employees.
